What started as a creative brief to create a social post for International Children’s Day, Hack Lab has become an evergreen experiential content series for Chevrolet. For the first Hack Lab, we invited 29 brilliant entrepreneurial teenagers from 10 countries to Detroit for a full day hackathon. An immersive briefing and workshop experience where teams compete to find the best solution to the brief. In this instance, how can we make texting and driving seem stupid and change the behavior? Their responses ranged from wearables to incentivised partnership programs but ultimately the team that won devised a plan for an app that we’re now working with GM to develop for real. The series continues as Chevrolet aims to position itself as a mobility company and thought leader in technology and innovation..
